Newsflash: I've finished off my thesis revisions! Well, almost. I'm just tidying up some things as my supervisors get back to me with comments for minor improvements, but overall the thing is done - finally. This is a huge relief. It's been hanging over me for too long. Thank God for giving me the grace and strength to get through it!

In other news, I'm heading off to Malawi for a week for the Lao New Year holiday break. (Sabaidee pi mai means happy new year!) I'm leaving tonight! Exciting!

Sadly, my parents ended up not making it to PNG to teach at the university there. They're doing bits and pieces of teaching, writing and more study, still in Australia.  I was able to catch up with them during February, when I went back to Australia for three weeks. I also went to AYC 2008 - the best weekend of my life, I think! It was an event (with people & messages that were) truly blessed and inspired by God. And while back home, I also worked hard on the thesis corrections, including a couple of meetings with one of my supervisors. I've kept it up since then while working, so it's been a busy time! (Hence no updates here till this short one, and also still no new photos to speak of. They'll come.)
